Start-Blocks:

The four startbocks (Runners: A,B,C und Nordic Walker:NW) all have different colors. The color of your starting bib is alos the color of your start-block.

RED (Startblock A) starts at 20.00 CET
YELLOW (Startblock B) starts 20.10 CET
BLUE (Startblock C) starts at 20.20 CET
ORANGE (Startblock NW) starts at 20.30 CET

The course 2011

Start and Finish of the erste bank vienna night run is at Heldenplatz. The 5 km long course runs alongside Vienna’s premier avenue, the Ring:

Burgring – Dr. Karl Lueger Ring – Schottenring – Franz Josefs Kai – Stubenring – Parkring – Schubertring – Kärntner Ring – Opernring

Timekeeping with Pentek timing & champion chip:

The Timekeeping occurs via Pentek timing with champion chip. If you own a chip, you can put it in with your registration, if you should buy one atz a later time, you can bring it with you in time before the run.

The participants who WANT TO RENT a chip only for this event receive on at the start number issuance or on the event day till 19:00 for 10€. With return of the chip after the event till 22:00 the security deposit is refunded at a rate of 7€. The chips that are not returned are automatically bought and cannot be used any more.

The participants who WANT TO BUY a chip receive on at the start number issue or on the event day till 19:00 against 33€ fee. This chip cannot be returned, already bought chips will not be taken back.

The chips can be obtained and returned on the event day at PENTEK timing tent at Heldenplatz.

NO CHIP, NO TIMEKEEPING!

Catering:

Water is provided for every participant a few meters behind the finish line. To avoid atraffic jam in the finish area, we ask you to take your drink and move further to the Heldenplatz.

Wardrobe & Shower:

Locker Rooms are available from 18.30 to 22.30. There is the possibility for every runner to hand in a bag at the wardrobe. For organizational reasons only one bag (only the blue erste bank bag) per runner can be accepted.

Ö3 Party at Heldenplatz and After run party at Volksgarten:

Participants of the erste bank vienna night run will receive free entry on October 8th, 2011 to "Get Whipped" with the presentation of the Starting Number from 23.00 to 0.30! In bad weather the offer is valid from 22.00 - 00.30. Attention: Only as long as there is capacity!

Please use public transport. U2/U3 Volkstheater, D, 1, 2 and 2A. Please note: public transportation in the area of the ring will be redirectet or shut down between 19.15 and 22.30 CET.
